Renult Clio 1.4 2001
I have a 2001 model Renault Clio.
I was driving back from Grabouw to Cape Town and the car failed on me, it sudeenly stopped responding as if it didn't want to pull forward never mind how hard I accelerated or the gear I was in. After being straded for a while I eventually got hold of a tow truck and had the vehicle towed to my house in kuilsriver.
It was rather disappointing because they charged me a fortune to tow the vehicle and that was just after I filled the tank with fuel.
The next day I had a Mechanic check the car for me and he mentioned something about the release bearing fork on the clutch. I believe this has something to do wwith the gearbox.
The car is standing now for more than 4 months. The Mechanic still needs to fit new break shoes which ive already bought and stored in the cars boot. The front fender was damaged when the car was lifted by the tow truck, the right fender is loose.
The right hand side drivers window is jammed, it also opens a little.The car is not in the best condition but I think it has potential to be repaired. Im sure some good use can still come of this car for someone who is ready to spend some money on the up keep of the car.
I don't have the money to fix the car anymore, and its just standing. After weighing my options I decided to cut my losses on it and sell my car through a car buying service.
I dint add a Price in the form when I added the car because I am I am prepared to take any reaseonable offer. Please come and see the car and make me an offer.
