Kia Sportage 2007; 2.7l V6, engine overheat, Kia quote R33,000 to repair after discounts. New Yokohama Tires, had a major service of R15k , new brake pads, timing belt etc two weeks prior to engine over heat. Radiator is burst. This car was running up until Friday the 9th of April 2021. We suspect that the oil pump stopped working. The body and interior is very good condition. We just fitted a new turbo, new injectors x2. It had 4 new tiers fitted a year and half ago. It has a towbar and great sound system with built in subwoofer and it has 6 speakers, of which 2 are Sony. Mechanical fault finding lead to a complete replacement of sensors, glow plugs, oil drained, fuel tank and fuel line cleaning, basically everything. Which lead to the fault, only component that needs to be replaced is the diesel injectors, which we didn't get to and finding that could be the problem.
